Just be supportive and be there for her. Maybe being at your house may not the best idea, with all that teen lust, it may make both of your parents uncomfortable and her father more upset. I would suggest going to her house with her, preferably when her dad is not there ( and if he is maybe take your with you guys) pack up some of her stuff, and have her stay at a close girl friends house. That way you will feel better because she isn't in her house, and she will have the support she needs from you and her friend.

How long does it usually take to receive a ticket from a red light camera?

I'm visiting the town from Connecticut, I went to the store, I ran the yellow light, I didn't know there was a camera, I missed it by about a quarter of a second, I'm pretty sure the camera got me, but I'm not positive. I've been told Mensa is a place for intelligent people, since I think of myself as intelligent I tried one of their tests online: I wasn't in range. Pain moving from back to sides?

About two weeks ago I started feeling pain in the lower right of my back, the next day it moved to the center of my back and I could hardly stand up. Now the pain is shifting more to my left side, under my ribs, just above my hips. I thought this was from a pulled muscle from helping a friend change tires on his truck and tossing them around, but its lasted much longer than anticipated. The pain began the day after changing the tires and has not weakened, just moved through my lower back. Moving around causes it to get worse, and its more of a dull pressure pain, although it is powerful enough to keep me from kneeling or bending over. Any suggestions would be appreciated!

My husband and I have been "casually" trying to get pregnant for the last few months. We haven't put a lot of effort in it you could say. My company just realigned and I have been offered the opportunity to apply for a new position. This would require my family to move and I would be busy on this project for the next year. Schools don't have enough funding to assign an O.T to an individual student. Even good special needs schools are unlikely to have any full time O.T's. I work in a Special Needs School in England with very good funding. We have 4 full-time on-site Speech Therapists and a Physical Sensory Therapist. We have two part-time O.T's for the autistic children and one part time O.T for the physically disabled children. They come in once a term, assess the children, set up a program for the class teaching assistants to follow and leave till next term when they reassess and make any necessary adjustments to the program. The Physical Sensory Therapist is full time and ends up carrying out a lot of the O.T programs as well as running messy play therapy sessions and BEAM. She's always with a child unless she's writing up reports on them but has to deal with the sensory needs of the entire school, so only gets to see each child every other term. Teaching Assistants are usually assigned to classes rather than a specific child (unless within mainstream) but the classes are generally small. Also the pay is rubbish. To be one-on-one with a child in a special needs school, they're likely to have severe medical needs. One-on-one doesn't usually benefit autistic children anyway, as if only working with one person they tend to be unable to generalise and will only follow learnt instructions from their one-on-one. It's better to have a class team of about 3 who rotate between the children to help them generalise.

My dad doesn't believe in me.?

I'm 25 and graduated from college last year. I studied what he pushed me to study (he tried it in his 40s but gave up cuz it was too hard to work/manage a family and study at the same time). I'm the first born and have always been the one to listen to my parents. He's very domintaing and is the kind ofperson you who u can never ever win an argument with. I really shd have taken up teaching becasue that is what I originally wanted and the way he responded to my choice was as if to say anyone can be a teacher..there's no glory in it. He thinks that it's a brainless job and that you don't need skill and it's not prestegious...like the occupation i studied in college. Are you supposed to report a car accident where there was no damage?

It isn't illegal not to report it. There are times when people with just a scratch on the bumper will report it to the other person's insurance company and claim massive injuries from getting tapped in traffic. If you don't call the police, it is a good idea to at least take photos of the damage after an accident. The guy could go home, back into something to cause more damage, then call your insurance company to claim damages. More than likely this will not happen, just saying it does every now & then.

A friend of mine is scheduled for the removal of either part a kidney or the whole kidney due to a cyst that is growing both inside and out of it. From appearances using the MRI the doc sees that it is likely cancerous and will not know more until further examination. The surgery will be robotic assisted and will last approx 3 hours depending on what they discover during the operation. My friend does not think the down time will be very long however I thing it might be more than a month or so --I want to make time available during this period to assist her as needed. She is optimistic and believes the re-cooperation time is minimal-- I do not want to be pessimistic and let her know the down time might be longer than she anticipates. I would like to be available for at least two months not two weeks--anybody have any ideas on this

Period two days late?

My boyfriend and I have had unprotected sex 5 times this months.. on the 4th, the 8th, the 11th, the 15th, and the 18th. We are always very careful, however, and he makes sure we stop when it first starts to feel good for him so there is no chance of him ejaculating inside of me. We also almost never do it more than once a day so there is no real chance of pre-*** containing sperm from previous bouts. My period was due on the 19th/20th and my cycles varies between 24 and 28 days.. but it has never gone over that. I usually have tender breasts a couple days to a week before my period, I get gassy and have diarrhea a couple days before, and usually have some sort of tinted discharge the day before I start. This time however, my breasts were tender 3 days before my anticipated start date and I didn't start to feel gassy until today. What worries me is that there has been no tinted discharge like there usually is. I plan to take a test soon but I was wondering, am I just being paranoid?

How do I get past skill level one in my WoW profession?

Ok so I'm fairly new to this game. I have two characters, one who took herbalism and skinning which is going fine, and then I just made the other which I have under alchemy and leather-working (to correspond with my other character via supplies sent from the mail to myself). Anyways, since these two are my first production professions, I'm kinda lost. Of course, after you learn apprentice, you're at skill level one. I browsed through every single potion recipe and pattern and they all seem to require a skill level of 15 or greater! But if there's not something to start out with level 1, then how do I level up?! Do I need to level up my character a bit? I'm only level 12 on that character, does that make a difference. Does it mean level 15, instead of skill level 15?

Jumping ahead or getting left behind?

Hey everyone!! I have been riding/jumping for around 8 years; However, lately I've been getting nervous over fences and therefore I over anticipate the fence and jump ahead of my horse (usually leaving me feeling extremely uncomfortable or have my horse refuse resulting in me ending up on the ground somewhere)! Comedy Screenplay Question?

Paranoid at night even when im not alone?

im bipolar but off my meds. but even on and before the meds i have always been paranoid at night. i constantly check the locks and sometimes hear things not voices but noises that make me creep around the house looking for something. i cant sit with my back toward a door because it makes me feel uneasy. and from this i also have a problem going to sleep even on sleeping pills i just lay there anticipating something. i usually fall asleep around 2 am and back up at 8 am.

Why is it now that most employers in the UK ask for people to have a degree?

I think if someone applies to an employer with a degree it's a good thing that can add value to a candidates application to work for a company. But I do not believe it should be the be all and the end all. I do believe that work experience and the skills for work are more important than university and I do believe that it is wrong saying 'you must have a degree to work for us'. University isn't something that suits everyone. Is it bad. For 15 months, I practiced for my high school's cheerleading team. They are national champions so they're really good. I worked hard and was good. I learned the dance, I picked up stunts very quickly despite being brand new to them (never was an actual cheerleader, elementary school didn't have it.) And i had tumbling skills that a lot of other girls who had cheered the entire life did not. So I got really nervous during tryouts and bombed them. Of course I was heartbroken when I didn't make the team. I always loved practicing for it. But now its something more. Its doing the dance i learned at tryouts everyday multiple times a day. It's practicing tumbling for at least an hour everyday. I start to feel anxiety or unhappy when I don't do it. I do it at the gym, on my lawn, at parties, you name it. I have bug bites all over my legs from practicing late it night. I'll tell my mom I will do just ONE back handspring and come inside. Ten minutes later, I'm still there. I didn't get a shower for 50 minutes because I was Practing the dance and flying positions and couldn't stop. I stay up til 3 a. M daydreaming about being on the team. I didn't really notice all this until my bestfriend say she couldn't hang out with me because of cheer Practice with the squad and she felt really bad and I realized I didn't care because I wanted to practice instead. Am I addicted? Is that even possible? Is it a good thing or bad?

Theres this popular guy in my school whos ONLY perverted with me. Everyone else thinks he's so funny and chill, but I've seen his true colours. Can this kitten be saved!?

I moved into a new place about 3 weeks ago and there was a mama cat and 3 kittens under the deck that were pretty much left to fend for themselves. Within the past week the mom and two of the kittens have just up an disappeared (I think the neighbor got ahold of them) anyway, one of the cats has been walking around looking completely lost and I noticed her eyes are almost glued shut. She was so malnurished my 7 yr old son was able to catch her, i brought her inside, fed her, gave her some water and took a hot wash cloth to her goopy eyes. She has her eyes open now and i clean them about 4 or 5 times a day but they look horrible. I have no money to take her to the vet seeing as I wasnt anticipating a new kitten to care for, but shes beautiful and I want to save her. Are there any home remedies that can help clear up her eyes? Or a vaccine i can buy at a pet shop?? Any advice is helpful.

He seems to love everything about me and I love everyything about him, even though we have completely different personalities, we still share the same common goals. It isn't fair on you that he behaves like he does. Your mum is most likely very stressed and tired, so this is why she also comes off as annoying. The best advice I can give is to tell your mum how you feel about your brother, and to remove yourself from the room or situation if your brother and his gf and baby are over. If the baby bangs on the computer box, ask the gf politely to remove the baby from where the computer is, or go to another room and do something else. Shaking uncontrollably?

Lately, I've been noticing that when I am excited about something or if I am anticipating something, my arm starts shaking uncontrollably. Sometimes my arms just stay by my arms and shake, other times it stretches out and then starts to shake. How to I get ready for Soccer season this fall?

Okay, so when I was little, I played soccer ALL THE TIME. but I haven't played it in 3 years, and this year, I'm required to take a sport, so I chose soccer. And I still have really good aim and drilling skills, but my problem is endurance. I am not the best runner, and I tire easily. I want to be able to, in the two months I have before the season starts at the end of August, before school starts, be able to run the amount a offense player can run. I mean, I can play any of the choices, but a soccer player generally needs the same endurance, so places can be switched. My parakeet just lost a friend so i got him a new one but he isn't to friendly, what should I do?

So I had these two parakeets named Zipper and Sailor. They were BEST FRIENDS and inseparable. Then one day they were hanging on a hook in their cage on our outside patio, my dad (who is very tall) walked without seeing it and knocked it off the hook. The cage fell apart and Zipper was molting so he couldn't fly but Sailor got away. We put the cage back together and got Zipper inside, luckily he wasn't injured. But Sailor flew off somewhere, and we knew from one time when we separated the two that they both started to flip out and were chirping for each other. So Sailor was gone and Zipper was all alone so my mom brought me to Petsmart and I got a new parakeet, we asked the gender and the lady said that it was too young to tell what gender but she guessed it would be a girl. I named her Lila and she's a very pretty bird. We put her in the cage and they don't fight but they don't interact and sometimes Zipper nips her to keep her away from him and one time pushed her off the perch. So, I found out that what happened last night was much worse than I anticipated. Apparently, her dad, being insensitive again, said something, I guess, wrong. Lexi must have said something that upset him greatly because he slapped her, which he hasn't done since she was 7. Her newly-found brother, intervened and began fighting with her dad, and left after being insulted and slightly beaten by her dad. I really have no clue how to handle this. Anger and the element of respect?

I have been off work for a bit do to tremendous emotional problems. I experience high emotional states. When I was at work I was being harrased and targeted by management because of my involvement with the union. I'm a very large man with numerous skills and resources. Your Most Anticipated Video Games of 2011?

You missed Skyrim. Skyrim blows all those games out the window with hurricane force.11/11/11 needs to be tomorrow. But so far we are almost half way from when the game was announced in December. Getting a horse into a trailer?

I've just bought a horse and will be picking her up on Sunday. The woman who sold her to me (not the owner- the owner couldn't care less about the horse and let her be sold by the barn she's boarded at) said the horse has only been in a trailer once in her life (she's 6) and she anticipates difficulty getting her to load. What are some good non-confrontational ways to get a horse to load? Obviously if it takes all day to get her in, it takes all day, but I'd rather it took less time. Wow, I hope you are a 4.0 student with top 5% LSAT scores if you desire entrance into the University of Michigan Law School. If that does not describe you, perhaps look to Wayne State or University of Detroit College of Law, both excellent schools. Lawyers are a diverse group. If you like trials, well, the criminal law may be for you. Starting out as a deputy district attorney or even on the corporation counsel of a large city could put you in a court room almost everyday. If you want a more "office bound" job you will work for a large firm and do endless research, check documents prepared by paralegals, write the first drafts of briefs that will then be taken by senior attorneys, changed, and used as their work product, meet with clients to add billable hours, etc. If you counting on Law and Order as your example you better stick to Criminal Law and recognize the pay is good but not even 50% of what tort lawyers and lawyers in huge firms may earn. As far as U. of M. Law School rethink this one unless, as I say, you are 4.0 or at least 3.8 with many AP classes and a top 5% LSAT in the year you take the test. Can you raise your LSAT score...YES. Start studying now, years in advance, and in the summer for the next two years attend the seminars put on by Kaplan and others. You can raise your score substantially if you do this...not many go to this degree of planning.

I opened and closed with and alarm. I was a server and bartendar and worked on the security side so I had to go through security everyday. I dealt with hundreds of peoples issues when the planes were delayed. I was by myself serving alchohol and food many times. I had to to do an accounting sheets when I signed out for both tills counting out money and calculting. I had to communicate with security to know what is going on with the planes to prepare myself for the next flight. I made food.
